VIGO AIRPORT – TUI – 0 KM
Arrival at Vigo Airport and transfer to Tui in private car, a 30 minute journey. After checking into your lodge for the evening, you can choose to either sit back and relax or opt for a stroll around this interesting frontier town.
TUI – REDONDELA- 17 KM (11 miles)
Tui has a large industrial area, we avoid it all with a quick 15 minute transfer by car to O Porriño. A great start to the trip as you’ll spend most of the day in the quiet countryside, discovering the peacefulness of rural Galicia.
REDONDELA – PONTEVEDRA – 20 KM (13 miles)
Passing the occasional beach makes this day a perfect blend of coastal and rural walking. Stopping in Pontevedra allows to visit some the city’s impressive sanctuaries.
PONTEVEDRA – CALDAS DE REIS – 23 KM (14 miles)
Another peaceful day in the countryside, we pass the impressive historical site of the Puente del Burgo and finish at the legendary hot springs of Caldas de Reis.
CALDAS DE REIS – PADRON – 18 KM (12 miles)
As you get closer to Santiago, you start walking through more and more Eucalyptus treed forests. The aroma is delightful as is the rest of the trail. The village of Padron is where the boat carrying St-James’ remains landed.
PADRON – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – 23 KM (14 miles)
A little more hills as we walk the final miles into Santiago. There is tons to see and do, on top of enjoying the fulfillment of reaching your destination so take full advantage of the city’s sites!
SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – VIGO AIRPORT – 0 KM
Afternoon shuttle to return to Vigo Airport.

Located on the river banks, bordering with Portugal. Ideally located on the edge of this historic town.
A 17th century home transformed into a beautiful small hotel. A fine example of the regional architecture.
PARADOR DE PONTEVEDRA
Located in the old quarters of the city, it is the count’s former home, renovated into a luxury hotel.
PADRON – PAZO DE LESTROVE
A lovely manor home from the 17th century, with beautiful and relaxing grounds, located on the outskirts of town.
